RESUME’

2014/15 season: started for Fort Lauderdale Select FC (for six years.)  I played for both Select FC U16 and U17 .  The Select U17 team made it to the final round of 16 in the Florida State Cup Tournament. I am presently playing for Kendall U17 Academy Reserves during the 2015/16 season.  This team is 10 and 0 on the season in the Florida Premier League and we will be in a top flight in the CASL tournament in November 2015.

I have been a member of the Varsity Soccer team for St Aquinas High School since my Freshman year.  I scored 3 goals freshman year, 6 goals Sophomore year, and 4 Junior year.   St Thomas competes at the 5A (highest) level in Florida and has made it to the State Regional Playoffs all three years.  St Thomas was ranked in the both the State and Nationally my Sophomore year.

In the summer of 2013, I was  a member of Kendall SC Super Y team. This team made Super Y League National Finals at IMG, ranking 8th in the nation and making the semifinals. A teammate and I were selected as All Stars of the league by the coaches and invited to attend the February 2014 ODP Super Y League National Camp at the IMG Showcase Tournament.

In summer of 2012, I was selected to be a member of the State ODP team for Florida.  I trained and competed In Region III pool against 12 other State ODP teams at the University of Alabama.

In addition to High School and Club soccer I train or have trained with private coaches including Wolde Harris (of Clemson and MLS fame).  My present main coach of contact is Luis Calix of the Kendall FC U17 Academy Reserves.  He can be contacted through Migda Navarro of Kendall FC.

Additional information

I am also a varsity cross country runner and have participated as a runner at the Florida State Cross Country Finals for four years.  In my Freshman and Junior year I helped St Thomas finish third in the State.  Floridarunners.com currently ranks me 50th in State of Florida among junior runners.

I am a member of the National Honor Society, taking Honors or AP classes – my un-weighted GPA is 3.35 and my weighted GPA is  4.3.

Strengths:  I have excellent endurance, speed and generally good ball skills.  I am very a smart player, a leader and a strong attacker on the wing or on defense.

Ian McCulloch’s assist to Gabriel Mesa on the very last play of the game to start St. Thomas Aquinas’ season off with a 3-2 win over District elite Fort Lauderdale High School.  Ian comes down the far right to make this pass.
